Our Team
We have a wonderful, long serving team of teachers who are passionate about Early Years Education. We employ a variety of educators, including Montessori teachers, certified primary school teachers, early childhood educators, and staff members undergoing training.
Kim – Head Teacher
A qualified Montessori Teacher, trained from birth -12 years. Kim dreamt of being a teacher since she was 3 years old and has been working in Early Years Education for over 15 years. She is very passionate about the Montessori method of education and providing outstanding care and education for children. Kim believes children have a right to a childhood full of nature, imagination, creativity, fun and friends. She aims to empower children to make their own choices, explore their own interests and develop their ability to explore the world around them.
Marta – Manager
Marta joined Under the Willow in 2022 after working in managerial roles in various other childcare settings, bringing over 12 years of experience with her.
Marta believes in high expectations of care and education, and challenging children to take responsibility for their education. She works with all staff across the nursery to create an inspiring and engaging learning environment in which children feel safe and secure, and to provide what children need in order to become lifelong learners. Marta feels very lucky to have the opportunity to work with such wonderful children, families, and co-workers.
ABOUT US
Koko – Deputy Manager
Koko has a true passion for Montessori education – she hoped to become a teacher from a young age. Once she completed Montessori training, she became a Lead Teacher, a position she loves and is very passionate about.
A career as a Montessori teacher gives her the opportunity to change tomorrow by working with today’s children. She desires to help children reach their potential and guide them toward meaningful growth. Outside of teaching, she enjoys travelling and exploring the world.
